Customers > Cohorts.
Mental model
Views are scoped to the page type. A view saved on Customers does not appear on History, and vice versa.
Names must be unique per page type in the workspace. A duplicate name fails with a clear error.
Where to find them
Save a new view
1
Build filters
On Customers or History, add the rules you want (agent name, end reason, customer metadata, phone number, and similar).
2
Save
Use Save on the filter bar (shown when you can create or update views).
- If no view is applied, Save opens Save filter view.
- Enter a Name, optional Description, and optionally enable Share with workspace.
- Select Save.
3
Confirm it applies
The new view becomes the applied view. The breadcrumb switcher shows its name instead of All.
Save as a copy
If a view is already applied and you want a copy with different filters, use Save as (create permission required). That opens Save filter view and creates a new named view without overwriting the original.Apply, clear, and manage
Switch views
In the page breadcrumb, open the views switcher:- Choose All to clear the applied view.
- Choose a saved view name to load its filters.
- Search by name when the list is long.
- Select Manage views to open the Saved views sheet.
Manage views sheet
Saved views lists views for the current page type:- Select a row to apply that view.
- A brand marker shows the Currently applied view.
- A people icon marks views Shared with workspace.
- ⋯ → Edit — change name, description, or sharing (update permission).
- ⋯ → Delete — remove a view (delete permission). Deleting the applied view clears the applied view id.
Update an applied view
- Apply a saved view.
- Change filters in the filter bar.
- Select Save again.
Permissions
Filter view actions use workspacefilterView create / read / update / delete:
If Save, Views, or manage actions are missing, ask a workspace admin for filter-view permissions. You also need permission to use the underlying filtered list (customers or conversations).
Cohorts vs filter views
Practical notes
- Prefer specific names (
History · agent X · hangup) so teammates can find the right view in Manage views. - Enable Share with workspace for team-standard lenses; leave it off for personal scratch views.
- After large data changes, re-apply the view to confirm the list still matches.
FAQ
Will a Customers view show up on History? No. Views are scoped per page type. What happens if I delete the applied view?
The page clears the applied view id; you return to an unscoped list until you apply another view. Can I share with only one team?
No. Sharing is workspace-wide when enabled.
Limitations
- Save / apply / manage UI is wired for Customers and Conversation History only.
- No public REST API for filter views in this release (workspace UI / tRPC).
- Sharing is workspace-wide when enabled; there is no per-team share target in the save dialog.
