# Channels

> Connect Instagram, Facebook, and email so customer messages land in Oration. WhatsApp, X, and LinkedIn are coming soon.

Channels are how customers reach you outside a phone call. Each connection is one inbox, Page, or professional account in your workspace.

Open **Settings → Agents Platform → Channels**. Available channels show **Connect**. Channels you already use show **Manage**.

  Start with the inbox your customers already write to. You can add more connections later.

## Create a connection

1. Go to **Settings → Agents Platform → Channels**.
2. Open the channel card, or use the overflow menu (`···`) and choose **Add connection**.
3. Follow the setup for that channel:
   * **Email** — enter a name and a work email. Oration gives you a mailbox to forward to.
   * **Instagram** or **Facebook** — approve access in Meta, then return to Oration.

When a connection is ready, its status is **Active**. Unconfigured means setup is not finished. Error means Meta access needs attention — use **Revalidate** on the connection.

## Coming soon

These channels appear on the Channels page with a **Coming Soon** badge. You cannot connect them yet.
